PHM’s headline exhibition for 2026, On The Line: 100 years of strikes & solidarity (Saturday 21 March to Monday 2 November 2026), is accompanied by an immersive programme of events exploring the exhibition’s themes and the stories represented in PHM’s nationally recognised collection. Throughout the spring months, visitors can take part in screenings, workshops, talks, and tours, with a dedicated summer season to follow. Marking a century since an unprecedented moment in history – when the entire nation was brought to a standstill as workers stood together in unity – a special open day will bring this historic milestone into the present, reflecting on its meaning and legacy today.
